Michael Bodin, 68, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on May 6, 2023.
Michael was born on March 28, 1955 to Don and Phyllis Bodin in Youngstown, Ohio. After graduating from Boardman High School in 1973, he went on to enlist in the United States Navy where he served as a Fire Control Missile Technician. When asked what Fire Control meant he would always respond "I did not put out the fires, I started them."
After his military service, he went into the private sector, which launched a lifetime career working with technology. He eventually retired as a Senior Systems Design Analyst with CCLA (College Center for Library Automation) in 2019.
In 1986, while working in New York for Leeds & Northrup, he met his wife, Pamela, at IBM. They wed in 1987, going on to have two children, Zachary and Tyler.
Michael was predeceased by his parents, Don and Phyllis Bodin; his in-laws, Henry and Eleanor Rath; his brother-in-law, Roderick Rath; and his sister, Jean Bodin. He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Bodin; sons, Zachary Bodin (Becca) and Tyler Bodin; sisters, Lynn Wombold, Jan Miller (Scott), and Ann Crosley (Dan); brother-in-law, Ronald Rath (Cindy); granddaughters, Amelia Bodin and Lyla Bodin; and many nieces and nephews.
