On December 24, 2021, Michael "Mike" Paul Bivens Jr., loving fianc? of Angie Paugh Hines, peacefully passed at his home in Baltimore County, MD.
Born April 16, 1981, he was the loving son of Michael Bivens Sr. and Sherry Nelson, and stepmother Julia Bivens and stepfather Michael Price.
Raised in Berkshire, Mike was a practitioner of home remodeling, who became a well-known Dundalk contractor and team leader. Mike was as an honest, modest, selfless, respectful, and giving person. He invoked the sense of humility by not thinking less of himself but thinking of himself less. He touched everyone with his unselfish love and kindness and sense of humor. You could always count on a good time and severe fits of belly laughter when in his presence. The Washington Irving quote "A kind heart is a fountain of gladness, making everything in its vicinity freshen into similes" captures his spirt.
Mike was preceded in death by his sister, Charlisa "Lisa" Bivens; grandparents, William, and Paula Granruth; and Aunt, Carla Santelli.
Surviving is his father, Michael Bivens Sr., and stepmother Julia Bivens of Forrest Hill; Mother Sherry Nelson and stepfather Michael Price of West Virginia; fianc? Angie Paugh Hines of Dundalk; stepdaughters, Halle Hines and Alyssa Hines of Florida; stepsons Bryan Hines Jr. and Heath Hines of Dundalk; grandson, Elias Williams of Florida; brothers Paul Bivens of Baltimore, and Joseph Bivens of Taneytown; sister Angela Schussler of Dundalk; nieces Sabrina Czyzewski of Essex, and Lyla Bivens of Baltimore, and several grandparents, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and colleagues.
Visitation will take place at Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc., 7922 Wise Avenue, Dundalk, Maryland 21222 on Monday, January 3, 2021 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Further services will be private.
