Merrill Floyd Grubb, 95, of Pearl City, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021. He was born on November 14, 1925 in Powers Lake, ND and was a retired HECO employee. He was also a US Army veteran. He is survived by daughter Darlene Tamanaha; son Derrick (Ayako) Grubb; numerous grand, great-grand, great-great-grand and great-great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by wife Leatrice Y.Y. Grubb; and children Leatrice "Baby" Lum, Joseph William "Sonny" Malina, Lydia Werner, Bernard "Pudgie" Malina and Bessie Chong. Twin sister Marcella "Sally" Taylor recently passed several days ago. Services: Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Valley of the Temples Makai Chapel. Walk-through visitation: 11:30am - 12:30pm. Committal services: 1pm at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire.
