Melvin Earl Bluebaugh, 80, of Salisbury, PA, died Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Cumberland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Cumberland, MD. Born November 10, 1940, in Elk Lick Twp., PA, he was the son of the late Earl and Hazel (Hetrick) Bluebaugh. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Raymond (Jackie) Bluebaugh; one sister, Louise (Marvin) Hetz; one brother-in-law, Blaine Berkley; one sister-in-law, Barbara Bluebaugh; one son-in-law, Joseph Finzel. Mr. Bluebaugh worked for the CSX Railroad and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury. He is survived by one sister, Miriam Berkley; one brother, Edward Bluebaugh; two children, Roseann Wolfe and Roxann Finzel; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Hwy., Salisbury, on Friday, January 15, 2021, from 10-11 a.m. Funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tom Holliday officiating. Interment will be in the St. Paul Wilhelm Cemetery. Due to COVID-19, we respectfully ask all those in attendance to wear face masks and honor social distancing.
