Maxie L. Warner, age 83, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022, at Baptist Health Madisonville in Madisonville, Kentucky.
Born August 1, 1938, in Jasper, Texas, he was the son of the late G.W. Warner and Katherine Horn Warner. He worked as a construction supervisor for 36 years for Holloway Construction and had previously worked at Smith Construction and Crider & Crider. He served in the United States Army Reserve and was a member of Ponderosa Baptist Church. Maxie enjoyed going on walks, watching television and especially loved spending time with his dogs Chloe, Gucci, and Liam.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Zachary Isaiah; brother, Dwan Warner; sisters, Gwendolyn Meigs and Louise Fletcher.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Tammy Warner of Cadiz; son, Eric (Sheryl) Warner of Venus, Texas; daughters, Sandra (Michael) McDivitt of Boiling Springs, Pa. and Daina (Michael) Wynn of Mansfield, Texas; their mother, Dixie Warner of Mansfield, Texas; step son, Joshua Garbesi of Campbell Hill, Ill.; grandchildren, Nick (Nicole) McDivitt, Erin (Mathew) Brenner, Taylor (Amanda) Wynn, Dillon Wynn, Kennedy Wynn, Shelby (Jacob) Vinson, Sydney Warner, Zoe Dawn, Isaac; five great grandchildren; step grandchild, Jaci Gabesi; sisters, Charlotte Stephenson on and Barbara Sears Phillips, both of Jasper, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no services at this time. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, 138 Main Street in Cadiz.
