Maurina N. Mattison, age 27 of Southfield passed suddenly on May 31, 2022. Maurina was born on December 2, 1994 in Clinton Township, Michigan to Dwayne and Angelique (Nagy) Mattison. Maurina was an avid reader, she especially enjoyed reading books by Sarah J. Moss. Loving daughter of Dwayne and Angelique Mattison. Dear sister of Ryan and Matthew Mattison. Cherished granddaughter of John and Barb (Sinclair) Nagy, John and Vee (Conley) Wieferman and Cheryl and the late Glenn Mattison. Loving girlfriend of Ian Lasher. Dear niece of Regina (Steve) Stark, Douglas (Christine) Nagy, Barbara Mattison, Sharon (Richard) Marchinski, Tracey (Michael) Slack, Travis Congdon, Calvin (Mary Jo) Congdon and Carl Wieferman. Special cousin of Marissa (Jeffrey), Benjamin (Kelsey), Whitney (John), Taylor, Blake, Dylan, Brandon, Cassia, Caitlyn, Kristen, Christian, Cade and Cole. and Caitlyn. In memory of Maurina who loved animals, memorial donations may be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
Visitation 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at the Wasik Funeral Home - Gendernalik Chapel located at 35259-23 Mile Road in New Baltimore.
Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 6, 2022 in the funeral home. Additional visitation Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service.
