Maurice "Carl" Johnson was born on February 24, 1963 in Valdosta, Georgia and passed away peacefully on February 9, 2021. Carl was a beloved member of the Manchester community; the residents of Manchester will remember him for his undying generosity and charismatic personality. Carl had a smile that could brighten the entirety of the small town that he called home. He worked as a diligent business owner of Manchester Maintenance after his father, the late Maurice Johnson, passed away in 2019. Carl was a strong patriarch of his family, loved by his community and provided unconditional support and love to his daughter Mikenna Chantel Johnson. Carl is survived by his only daughter, Mikenna of Manchester, VT. She was his motivation for all of his achievements, and he was always so proud to showcase all of her accomplishments. She unconditionally remains "Daddy's Little Girl" and he will forever live on in her memory. He is also survived by his loving girlfriend of four years, Sue Vacarro, his best friend and confidant of twenty-two years, Celeste Sheeran, aunts, uncles, nephews, and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice Johnson (June 25, 2019), Doris Johnson (April 27, 2019), and his cousin Alexander Johnson (February 23, 2019) who were also beloved by the Manchester community. A time of visitation including a prayer service will be held on February 27, 2021 from 11 AM to 1 PM. We politely ask that anyone attending services please wear a mask due to Covid-19 restrictions.
