Maureen "MoeMoe" Patricia Michael, 74, of Quincy, formerly of Manchester, NH, passed peacefully following a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Maureen was the second of four children born to the late Thomas and Marguerite (Eaton) Michael. She is survived by her daughter Kristen D. Allaire of Cohasset and her son Michael R. Allaire of Londonderry, NH. Dear sister of Carol Fournier and her husband Norm of Florida, Kathleen McCabe of Rhode Island, and the late John B. Michael. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and good friends.
An accountant for 29 years with PSNH in New Hampshire, Maureen moved to Quincy in 2014. She was an ardent supporter of the MSPCA, as well as many Veteran's causes. In 2018 she moved to Pope Nursing Home where she was dubbed "the Duchess of Weymouth". There she fit right in with the wonderful, caring staff and residents of the facility, and her family will be eternally grateful for their compassionate care.
Maureen loved singing, dancing and drinking Guinness. She was quick witted and always enjoyed a good joke, but her favorite times were those spent with her loving family and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Manchester Animal Shelter 490 Dunbarton Road Manchester, NH 03102 in honor of her love for Animals.
A Celebration of Life is planned for family and friends at The Fours Restaurant 15 Cottage Ave Quincy, MA on January 29th from 5-9 PM. Come raise a Guinness in her honor.
