Matthew Raisz

Matt passed away on October 20th after a tough battle with multiple myeloma. He was only 69, taken from us too soon. He leaves behind Rose, the love of his life for 44 years, his siblings Pancaratna, Jonathan, Katherine and Nicholas as well as nieces and nephews and their families.

He began his career at his grandmother's antique shop, Marika's Antiques, and carried on after her death. The shop was a Beacon Hill institution that bought and sold antiques and jewelry from around the globe. It was a gathering place for a a great number of fascinating dealers and collectors and claimed the longest tenure of all of the many antique stores on Charles Street.

Matthew was a most kind, generous, principled and loving husband, brother, uncle and friend and will be sorely missed.
