Mary Charlene Stojkic of Ocala passed away February 16, 2025. Born in Chicago, Illinois, she moved to Lakeland in 1989 and came to this area in 1995. She was a retired public relations manager and Catholic by faith. She is survived by her step children, Deborah Moran of Bolingbrook, Illinois, Julia Carpenter of Westfield, Indiana and Timothy (Candy) Stojkic of Ooltewah, Tennessee, sister-in-law Mary Lou Daugherty of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, sister-in-law Dorothea Alfini of St. John, Indiana and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents John Daugherty and Anna Ryan, by her husband Thomas (TJ) Stojkic, sister Patricia Gach, brother John Daugherty, brother-in-law Thomas Gach, brother-in-law Robert Stojkic, brother- in-law Richard Alfini and sister-in-law Marilyn Stojkic.
Interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery Bushnell, Friday March 28, 2025 at 12:30 p.m.. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Marion County Cate's House 9505 SW 110th St Ocala FL 34481 352-291-5100.
