Mary Grace Stanford passed away on April 7, 2023 surrounded by her family. Born in Mount Vernon, TX on November 20, 1948, Mary Grace moved to Galveston with her family in 1956. She attended Rosenberg School, Austin Junior High and was an Honor Graduate from Ball High in 1967. She then attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated in 1971 with a BA in Business Administration.
Mary Grace had a long and successful career in the Information Technology profession and became a Program Manager/Portfolio Manager implementing multi-million dollar software development projects and infrastructure projects for Fortune 500 companies and State and Federal government agencies.
She was predeceased by her parents Dr. Henry and Emily Stanford and is survived by her sisters, Dr. Emily Jean Lucid and Faith (Victor) Bero both of Georgetown, TX., and her beloved nieces and nephews, Dr. Henry Lucid, Dr. Roslyn Martz, Victor (Cheryl) Bero, Katharine Bero, and great nephew and niece David and Madeline Lucid.
Mary Grace will be interred in the Galveston City Cemetery in a private family ceremony.
