Mary Ellen Simpson, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed on Monday, October 29, 2018. A strong, independent, quick-witted woman with an unfailing sense of humor. An endearing and gracious soul. A strict yet benevolent mother and grandmother, she loved and was loved. There's a long list of friends and family who will miss her dearly but will carry on with the shining pieces of herself that she so generously shared.
