Mary Catherine Shane of Thurmont, Md. Went to be with the Lord on October 28th, 2023 at Doey's House surrounded by family and friends.
Mary was born on March 25th, 1957 to the late Elmer H. Plotner and Eva (Bowers) Plotner. She worked for Camp Airy and Camp Louise for 20 years as a house keeper. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and parakeet parent. Mary was an avid collector of teddy bears and flameless candles.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Ronald G. Shane Sr. of Thurmont, Md.; her three children, Misty Shane, Ronald Shane Jr. (Wanda), Tina Ragland (Bill); eight grandchildren, Carrie (Brandon), James, Kelsi, Amber, Ronnie, Desiree, Kendra and Devin; Two great-grandchildren, and one great-granddog. She is also survived by five sisters, one brother and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a celebration of life at Camp Airy on November 6th, 2023 at 4:30pm at the BOJC Building.
