Mary K. Rochon of Chester, SC, passed away on December 19, 2024, after a brief illness. As a devoted mother and housewife, she enjoyed gardening, sewing, and crafting with friends. Mary was actively involved in her church community, most recently at Liberty Baptist Church in Chester. She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Thomas Rochon, who passed away in November 2024. Mary is survived by her children: Timothy Rochon (Jocelyn) of Marathon, Florida; Rachel Rochon of Chester, SC; Matthew Rochon (Christy) of Nicholson, GA; Louise Damjanovic (Peter) of Jasper, GA; and Stuart Rochon of Chester, SC. She is also survived by her grandson, Ian Rochon, of Chester, SC, and four siblings: Barbara Dedafoe of Charlotte, MI; Joyce Tibbitts of Charlotte, MI; Carolyn Beam of Roanoke, AL; and Henry Krey of Gladwin, MI. Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, February 1, at 1:00p.m. in the Fork Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Bowman, GA. In her memory, please be kind to yourself and others.
