97years young,of Tampa, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2021. Left to cherish her memory are daughters Sharon Bell and Debbie Rotolo (Steve) and Stepsons Jim Pullara (Mary) and Sam Pullara (Sheila); ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons. She was predeceased by her husband Sam Pullara; parents Salvatore and Josephine Ferlita; son Freddie Fernandez; brother Rosario Sam Ferlita and sister-in-law Frances. Mary graduated from Hillsborough High School Class of 1941 with honors, and had a 25-year career with Tampa Police Department as the Personnel & Training Secretary. Mary was a member of La Nuova Sicilia Unita Lodge 1251. Special thanks to the dedicated staff and caregivers at The Colonnade of Carrollwood. Mary was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her. She saw the best in everyone and enjoyed life to its fullest. She will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Feeding Tampa Bay (4702 Transport Dr, Bldg 6, Tampa, FL 33605, www.feedingtampabay.org).
