Mary Ann Moxley, age 86, of Myrtle Beach, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 1, 2021.
She was born in Roland, OK on October, 9, 1934 to the late Clyde Pyles and Gatsy Carr.
Soon after they married, Jerry joined the Air Force. They spent 26 years in the USAF. They were stationed all over the United States and Germany. They moved to Myrtle Beach in 1971 and retired from the USAF in 1975.
She worked as a Real Estate Agent for several years. In later life, she turned her yard selling hobby into a career at the flea market. Mary Ann loved spending time with her family and enjoyed sewing and quilting for her family. She was a member of the Myrtle Beach Church of Christ where her husband was an elder for 40 years. Mary Ann was a faithful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a faithful Christian, a true servant, generous, hospitable, loving and kind. She was the matriarch of the Moxley family and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Jerry Moxley; daughter, LuAnn Barton (Jim); son, Michael Moxley (Shari); grandchildren, Katelyn Sherrill (Dylan), Coleman Moxley, Hannah Moxley, Luke Moxley, Mitchell Moxley, Audra Hensley (Sean), and Michelle Barton. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Memorial service was 3:00 pm, Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Myrtle Beach Church of Christ, with Dr. John Enloe officiating. Visitation was one hour prior to the service.
