Rivera Funeral Home
Age 69, of Albuquerque and formerly of Taos passed away unexpectedly on January 4, 2020. She is preceded in death by her father, Willie Espinoza, grandfather, Francisco Tafoya, grandmother, Amalia Espinoza and aunt, Toni Jacobs. She is survived by her beloved companion, Robert Baca, mother, Loren Sanchez, children, Louann Castillo (Paul), Luis Tafoya (Linda) and Louella Tafoya, grandchildren, Paul Jr. (Mariah), Josh (Bryanna), Vanessa (Rick), Gabriella (Santi), Estevan, Faith, Sara and Vicente, great-grandchildren, Paul III, Aubrey, JayLynn, Autumn and Brooklynn, aunt, Celina Romero (Lee), uncles, Gilbert and Eli Tafoya 2 brothers, 6 sisters, many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends, including her best friend, Tina Webster. Mary was very passionate about spending quality time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who have many great memories of their "Mamie". Funeral Service was held on January 14, 2020 at Rivera Chapel. Interment followed at the Talpa Cemetery. Pallbearers were Paul Castillo Jr., Josh Castillo, Estevan Garcia, Vicente Tafoya, Santi Cordova and Rick Triana. Honorary Pallbearer was Paul Castillo III.
