Mary Lou Puckett (89) passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 29th. Because of complications related to dementia. She was born on July 29, 1932, in Buford, Georgia to Grover H. Puckett and Sarah L. Puckett. Mary Lou was a kindhearted lady and was the primary care giver for her parents most of her life. She loved to cook, shop and her long walks throughout Downtown Buford. She had a contagious laugh and would call everyone "Hun." She will be missed by her family and friends. Mary Lou is preceded in death by her parents Grover H. Puckett, Sarah L. Puckett, sister Ruby L. Pierce, sister in-law Myrna Loy Puckett, brother in-law Bill Pierce. She is survived by her brother Henry J. Puckett, nephews Barry (Donna) Puckett of Monroe, Jeff (Marlo) Puckett of Commerce, great nephews William (Heather) Puckett of Commerce, Matthew Puckett of Monroe, great, great nephews Reed and Justin Puckett.
The family wishes to thank Pruitt Healthcare of Buford, Georgia for her care. The funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 2:00pm in the afternoon with a visitation starting at 1:00pm at Crowell Brothers Funeral Home and Crematory 201 Morningside Drive, Buford, Ga 30518. Mary Lou Puckett will be laid to rest at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery at 3759 Friendship Rd, Buford, GA 30519
