Mary Ann Knapp McNulty, age 90, passed away January 18, 2023 in Sarasota, Florida after a long and blessed life. Originally from North Franklin, New York, she was the daughter of Raymond Seymour Knapp and Millie Fagan Knapp who preceded her in death as well as her eleven brothers and sisters, Edwin Reed I, Katherine Mae Knapp, Gladys Annette "Stub" Knapp Rosher (Frank), Edwin Reid Knapp II, Raymond "Pete" Ellis Knapp (Jane), Franklin "Bill" Bennett Knapp (Florence), Agnes Ethel "Pat" Knapp Anderson (Wesley), Harriet Knapp Thayer (Orlo), Oren Chenney "Doc" Knapp (Ethel), Wilford Murray "Spike" Knapp (Violet) and Lucy Louise Knapp Muehl (Tony). She was happily married to James John McNulty for 62 years who preceded her in death as well as her oldest son, James John McNulty, Jr. She was a loving and joyful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt and is survived by Bonnie Mitchell (Michael), Mark McNulty (Nancy), Thomas McNulty, grandchildren Sue Ann Mitchell, Melissa Mitchell McCain (Anthony), Maggie McNulty, Miles McNulty (Katie), Michael Lincoln Mitchell and great-grandchildren Anthony McCain, Jr., Aiden McCain, Aanyiah McCain, Declan McNulty and many cherished nieces and nephews. Mary Ann graduated from Otego High School and Albany Business College. After moving to Sarasota, Florida, she earned her nursing degree and was a long-time employee until her retirement of Allergy Associates where she had many beloved friends and co-workers. Active in Southside Baptist Church as a choir member and a volunteer for visitation programs, she was always willing to lend a hand or loving support. Funeral service at the Southside Baptist Church on Saturday, January 28 with visitation at 10 a.m. followed by an 11 a.m. service.
