Mary Hodge (nee George), 89, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.
She was born in Brighton, Massachusetts to Peter and Georgia George on April 21,1932. Her parents came to America from St. Vasiallios, Greece in 1930. Mary grew up in the north end of Boston and later lived in Sudbury, Massachusetts along with other places before she moved with her family to the Akron, Ohio area in 1980.
Mary's kindness was experienced by all who had the honor of knowing her. She was a loving wife, mother and friend who dedicated her life to her family. She created and kept a beautiful home and was an incredible cook.
Mary is preceded in her death by her parents, Peter and Georgia, her brother, Charles and her husband of 57 years, Clifford Edward Hodge.
She is survived by her daughters; Karen and Kristine.
A private service will be held later. In lieu of flowers, you may honor Mary by donating to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements entrusted to the Mark R. Vrabel Funeral Home, North Canton 330-452-4041.
