(Mary) Jane W. Haman, 96, of Suwanee, GA, formerly of Duluth, GA, passed away April 20, 2023. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Duluth First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Haman, a native of Shubuta, MS, was a member of Duluth First United Methodist Church and a former member of Brookhaven United Methodist Church. She was the salutatorian of her high school class and furthered her education at Draughon's Business College in Jackson, MS. In 1950, Jane married Ray Haman, Sr. and they made their home in Jackson, MS followed by Memphis, TN, eventually settling in the Brookhaven neighborhood of Atlanta in 1959 where they lived for the next 50 years. Jane worked for Southern Bell early in her career and later retired from her position in government service. She had a love of family, friends, and church and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by her husband, Ray Thomas Haman, Sr. and sister, Lunita Badgerow; she is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Ray T. (Tom) and Nancy Haman of Gainesville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Benita and Steve Hatch of The Villages, FL; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Connie Haman of Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren, Elizabeth (David) Johnson of Brentwood, TN, Christine Haman (Robert Luke) of Baton Rouge, LA, Amanda (Charles) Walker of Cumming, GA, Tommy (Mo) Atwood of Lilburn, GA, Brian Atwood (Lynn Louise Larson) of Auburn, NY; great grandchildren, Reid Johnson, Adam Johnson, Stella Luke, Eva Luke, Duncan Luke, Savannah Walker, Eliza Walker, Wyatt Walker, Carley Ann Walker, Harper Atwood, Piper Atwood.
