Age 93 of Maple Grove passed away peacefully on Aug. 19, 2023 with family by her side. Preceded in death by beloved husband of 58 years, Bill; parents, Ella and George; brother, George; sister, Dorothy; sister, Louise; and grandson, Jeremy. Survived by brother, John; sisters, Virginia and Bev; nine daughters, Judi Funk, Joyce (Jerry) Roerig, Joan (Larry) Rothstein, Janet (Jerry) Bohman, Jayne (Roger) Funk, Jean (Kevin) Landman, Julie (John) Leighton, Jacelyn (Tad) Jude, Jill (Brent) Simons; and 28 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren. A gentle, but strong and trusted anchor of the family, Mary committed her life to those around her. Everyone who crossed her path was family. She was a woman of faith, who reflected most at sunrise with a cup of coffee. Mary was a talented seamstress who shared her gifts often and a savvy businesswoman who managed "the books" of the family veterinary clinic until recent years. Despite her large family, she always kept up with our lives, loved us unconditionally and had a special and unique connection with each of us that we will all carry in our hearts in her absence. She is loved by many and will be deeply missed by all. Funeral service was held on August 29th, 2023 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Brooklyn Park. Arrangements with Kozlak-Radulovich Chapel, 763-416-0016.
