Mary Elizabeth Embrey Fletcher

Mary Elizabeth Fletcher, 87, of Winchester, VA formerly of Round Hill, VA passed away Friday, January 8, 2021.

Mary was born November 17, 1933 in Middleburg, VA the daughter of the late George and Della Embrey. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Everett Fletcher Sr., on May 17, 1948. She worked for Loudoun Hospital for 33 years.

She is survived by her children; Everette Fletcher Jr. (Luz) of Winchester, Barbara Brown (Billy) of New Baltimore VA, Joyce Grimes (Roy) of Winchester, Richard Fletcher of Winchester, Ronnie Fletcher of Charlestown WV, Lorrie Mullins of North Carolina, Sam Fletcher of Winchester, Albert Fletcher of Winchester, and Nancy Fletcher of Aldie VA, 12 grandchildren; Angie, Dale, Richard, Jeff, Colleen, Ronald Lee, JR., Johnny Lee, Kim, Brandon, Nick, and Lisa, 23 great grandchildren; Haley, Colten, Chloe, Averie, Morgan, Caleb, Carson, Callen, Colby, Chase, Ashley, Hank, Waylon, Judson, Leanna, Brianna, Liam, and Noah, Haley, Emily, Hunter, Caleb, and Haley, brother; David Embrey of West Virginia, and many nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her brother; Jimmy Embrey and sister; Francis Williams.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester. A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 11am at Jones Funeral Home with Pastor Chip Corbin officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hebron Cemetery.
