Mary-Elizabeth LeDuc, 55, of Hamden, passed away on May 7, 2021, after a long illness. She was born on March 11, 1966 to the late Richard W. and Joan O'Brien LeDuc. Mary attended St. Rose School in Meriden and was a 1984 graduate of Mercy High School in Middletown. She had a successful career in corporate security, working at Norden Systems and US Surgical in Norwalk, and Ensign-Bickford Industries in Simsbury. While working full time, she furthered her education, putting herself through school. She graduated from Norwalk Community College in 1991 with an AS; Post University in Waterbury in 1998 with a BS; and Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2002 with a JD. She was admitted to the Connecticut and Federal Bars in 2002. Mary opened her own law firm, The LeDuc Law Office, in New Haven, where she engaged in the general practice of law with a focus on real estate transactions. She helped to negotiate and closed innumerable real estate deals, going above and beyond for her clients. Besides her beloved Morkie, Bella, Mary also leaves behind many close friends with whom she kept in constant contact. She was a very good friend to all and had a heart of gold. She attended summer camp at Camp Claire in Lyme for many seasons, and later served as a counselor. She made many life-long friends at camp and it held a special place in her heart. Arrangements are in the care of BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden. There will be no calling hours, and services will be private.
