Mary Ellen Crowder Thompson, 84, of Charleston and formerly of Belle passed away August 10, 2024 at home.
She was a retired school teacher and counselor for Kanawha County Schools and a member of Mt. Juliet Global Methodist Church, Belle.
Preceding her in death were her brothers, Miles Joseph Crowder II, Jack Crowder and parents, Miles Joseph and Helen Mary Anderson Crowder.
Surviving are her husband, Carl Edward Thompson; son, Carl E. Thompson II (Denise) of Sissonville and grandchildren, Nicholas and Mark Thompson.
In keeping with Mary's final request, her cremation wishes will be honored and there will be no other services.
