Mary Muranda Cook Stanley

Mary Muranda Cook Stanley, born July 26, 1917 in Harmony, Maryland, to the late William Albert Cook, Sr. and Rosa V. Cook, the seventh of eight children. Mary married Alexander Stanley and moved to Philadelphia, PA where they made their home. He Preceded her in death. Aunt Mary, as she was known to so many never had any children of her own but was a loving aunt to may nieces and nephews. She worked for the same family for over forty years before retiring due to illness. Mary was preceded in death by all of her siblings, Alexander,Elsie Ann, Ella Oneid, George Lawrence, Charles Martin, William Albert and Mable Marie. Mary had resided in a nursing home for the last seven years due to a long illness.
