Mary Ann Collett, age 78, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Friday, October 2, 2020. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta with Rev. Billy Lord officiating. A native of College Park, Mrs. Collett lived most of her life in Marietta. She retired from the Cobb County School System as a Head Custodian and Supervisor after over 20 years of employment. She enjoyed crocheting and creating Cabbage Patch Dolls, and loved her family and her dogs. Survivors include: 4 Children, Robert William (Diane) Collett, Jr. Marietta, GA; Thomas Edward (Lorraine) Collett, Cartersville, GA, Raymond Walter Collett, Marietta, GA and Denise Dawn Collett (Douglas Scott) Kriss, Powder Springs, GA; 5 Siblings, Jack Holt, Timothy Holt, Ted Holt, Carl Holt and Jane Reese; 8 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary Collett's memory to Cobb County Humane Society @ www.humanecobb.com. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
