Mary Weatherington Matthews Childs, 84, of Windsor, CT, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Mary was born on July 16, 1937, in Selma, AL to the late Bascon Weatherington and Etuara (Goines) Weatherington. A celebration of Mary's life will take place on Friday, July 8, 2022, at 11:00am with a visitation from 10:00am – 11:00am at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 2 FD Oates Avenue, Hartford, CT 06120. Interment will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery, 2035 Main Street, Hartford, CT 06120.
