Private family services for Mary E. Carnahan 68, of Brownsboro have been scheduled with Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home.
Mrs. Carnahan passed away Tuesday evening at her home in Brownsboro.
Mary was born August 15, 1951 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to the late David Harry and Bertha Katheryn Cramer Shaffer. Mary was a resident of Brownsboro for many years and was a member of Carpenters Cross Baptist Church in Flint. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren and especially loved playing many different types of games which included Badminton, card games and a true love of playing Bingo. She also loved doing many different kinds of crafts and loved to wet a hook and go fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Bertha Shaffer, brother; Harry Shaffer, Mother-in-law; Ella Angstadt, and sister-in-law; Donna Wilson.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years Stephen Carnahan of Brownsboro, her children; David Carnahan and wife Hollie of San Antonio, Angela Carnahan of Brownsboro, Joyce Crook and husband James of Fairfield, Johnny Carnahan and wife Kathleen of Whitehouse, grandchildren; Jonathan and Kayla Stewart, McKenzie Maas and husband Cole, Taylor Carnahan, Kyleigh Hudson, Obie Crook and Chloe Crook, Justus Carnahan and Lauren Morris, Autumn Carnahan, Jaxon Carnahan, Kaylee and Lindsey Harper, father-in-law; Sheridan Angstadt, sisters-in-law; Diane Hunter and husband Lou, Darlene Pipa and husband Lou.
Visitation will be Friday from 8-5 P.M. at the funeral home.
