Mary Frances was called to her Eternal Home at the age of 91 on March 8, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. Frances was born in Lovelady, Texas on June 30, 1932, to the late Aaron Thomas Searcy and Roxie Mae Goldman Searcy.
Frances grew up in Houston, Texas. She married Merrill Ray "Mickey" Bowers in 1951 and had two daughters in this marriage, Scheron Kay and Lynnette Gaye. Mickey went to be with the Lord on July 28, 2009.
Frances married Don Beutow on August 18, 2012. Frances and Don had a love for traveling. They traveled with their church, all through the U.S. and across Europe. They were both very involved in their church and served in many capacities within the church. They also had several outside activities. Frances and Don loved being together and enjoyed their everyday life. Frances was a great wife to Don, a wonderful mother and friend. She gave her girls the greatest gift a mother can give, our faith in Jesus-Christ. Enjoy the peace and glory you now live in.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Mickey Bowers; parents; brothers and stepbrother, William Wayne Green, Albert Wayne Searcy and Herbert Hayne Searcy; grandson, Patrick Orlin Day, Jr.; and great-granddaughter, Abigail "Abby" Lynn.
Frances is survived by her loving husband, Don Beutow; daughters, Scheron and husband, Steve Armstrong, Lynnette and husband, Pat Day; stepdaughter, Pam and husband, Allen Mash; grandchildren, Shawn Armstrong and wife, Lorena, Samantha Armstrong; Lindsay and her husband, JC Oneto; great-grandchildren, Christian Armstrong, Logan Armstrong, Brody Armstrong, Willa Armstrong, Leah Oneto, Ellie Oneto, and Landen Oneto; along with a host of cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. Kleinbaum, his staff and her caregivers at Heart to Heart Hospice for the expert care and compassion who helped make Frances comfortable in the last few weeks. The family would also like to thank the many friends at St. Mark Lutheran church for all the meals, prayers and love.
A funeral service will be held on March 14th at 11:00 a.m., at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 2100 Tickner St., Conroe, Texas 77301, where Pastor Brian Bestian will preside over the ceremony. The burial will be held also on March 14th at 3:00 p.m., at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Frwy., Houston, Texas 77039, where Pastor Brian Bestian will preside.
Serving as pallbearers are Steve Armstrong, Pat Day, Allen Mash, JC Oneto, Landen Oneto and Austin Shaw. Serving as an honorary pallbearer is Shawn Armstrong.
