Mary "Betty" Bodley of Haines City, FL passed away on June 29, 2021. She was 95. She was born in Springfield, MA on December 19, 1925, to Aaron S. and Margaret Lillian Johnson and moved to Haines City in 1988 from West Springfield, MA.
Betty worked as a consultant in the toy department at Child World in West Springfield. Also, while living in West Springfield she was a member of the Sweet Adeline Chorus as well as a longtime member of First Congregational Church where she was also in the choir. After moving to Florida, she worked as a greeter at Wal-Mart and became a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Haines City, where she was a member of their choir.
She is predeceased by her husband, Kenneth "Ken" Bodley, Sr.; son, Kenneth I. Bodley, Jr. and daughter, Elizabeth Lindsey. Betty is survived by her daughter, Dr. Annette Bodley of Ashburnham, MA; son, David Bodley of Lake Wales, FL; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
