WALWORTH - Mary Ellen Bayley of Walworth, Wisconsin passed away on 1/25/2021 from ALS.
Mary was born on April 25, 1951 in Harvard, Illinois to Ed and Ramona Slavin. She grew up on a dairy farm in Walworth and graduated from St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing in Racine, Wisconsin. Mary practiced nursing for over 40 years with a special love of oncology and hospice nursing.
Mary is survived by her family: two daughters - Bridget Bayley and son-in-law Nick Peterson of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Deanna Bayley and son-in-law Max Peterschmidt of Seattle, Washington; a sister - Joanne Slavin and brother-in-law Mark Engstrom of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; and several wonderful nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Bayley and a sister, Beth Anderson.
A memorial service will be held at Creek Road Community Church in Delavan, Wisconsin at a future date.
