It is with profound love and regret that family and friends mourn the loss of Mary Alice Cannon, 91. Mary Alice made her final flight to the Kingdom of Heaven on November 20, 2020.
She was born on September 22,1929, in Kingsville, TX, to Mary and John Maca. Mary Alice graduated from H. M. High school in 1948. She married her loving husband, Aubrey B. Cannon on February 23, 1949, Kingsville, Tx.
Mary Alice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 5 brothers, 1 sister, and 1 son-in-law, Ronald Olinick.
She is survived by her daughters, Tanja Cannon Olinick, and Tami Cannon Kensing, both of Floresville, Tx; Grandchildren, Mandi Marie Sralla (Adam Strzelczyk), Matthew Ryan Olinick (Jen), and Kimberly Diane Embrey (Lance); Great Grandchildren, Blake Andrew Moy (Kameryn Jones) Paityn Marie Embrey, 3 dear sisters-in-law, and numerous precious nieces and nephews.
Visitation services were held Monday, November 23, 2020 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m, with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 p.m. at The First Baptist Church of Floresville, with Brother Mike Clements conducting. A Grave side service was held the following day at 1:00 p.m. at the Chamberlain Cemetery in Kingsville, Tx, with Brother Orman Gwynn officiating.
The family would personally like to give a heart-felt thanks to Trinity Hospice (Lisa Laubach & Gracie) for their compassion and care. Also, thank you to her loving caregivers Summer O'brien, Kameryn Jones and Carol Zidek.
The family requests memorial donations be made for retired Baptist Ministers Missionaries and their spouses at Mission: Dignity Guidestone PO Box 819109; Dallas, TX 75381-9957.
