Martin Edward Howard, 68, of Fannett, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Christus Southeast Texas - St. Elizabeth. He was born on January 30, 1954, in Beaumont, to Earline Derouen and Joseph "J.E." Howard.
Marty was raised in Fannett, where he graduated in 1972. From there he went straight to join the local pipefitter union 195, where he went on to work in supervision for the remainder of his career. He retired from Gulfspan in March of 2020. Marty married the love of his life, Rebecca Jean Howard, on January 20, 1979, and had two sons who blessed him with seven grandchildren that meant the world to him.
Survivors include his stepmom, Gloria Howard; mother and father-in-law, Pansy and Kenneth Moulder; sons, Joseph Howard and Troy Howard; grandchildren, Bradley Howard, Jayden Howard, Kristen Howard, Trent Howard, Gaven Howard, Bryson Howard, and Kellan Howard; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rebecca Howard; and brother, Jay Eric Howard.

A gathering of Mr. Howard's family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m., with his Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 9894 Gilbert Road, Fannett, with his interment to follow at 2:00 p.m., at Magnolia Springs Cemetery, Magnolia Springs.
