Martha (Marty) Jo Wilson, a loving mother, doting grandmother, dedicated sister and esteemed
friend, passed away peacefully at home in Greeley, Colo., on Jan. 26, 2023. She was 74. Born in
Oklahoma, Marty's parents eventually settled the family in Colorado, where met her former
husband Dan Wilson. They wed in 1967, made a home in Fort Collins and were married for 33
years. She worked as a bookkeeper for several businesses, finishing her career with the
Colorado State University Research Foundation.
She leaves behind a son Dan Wilson, Jr., wife Beth and their children Connor, Brayden and Henry;
daughter Rebecca Baran, husband Mark and their son Spenser. Please see her obituary at

A celebration of life will be held Memorial Day weekend when Marty would have reveled in the
first flowers and greenery of the year. Donations in lieu of flowers are suggested to two causes
that held a special place in Marty's heart: Animal Friends Alliance and the American Cancer
Society.
