Marlene Hammontree Beeler was born on July 16th, 1964, in Jacksonville, Fla to Marvin and Hilda Hammontree. On Sunday, October 31, 2021 heaven gained an angel and she received her miracle. She had lived in Tennessee since 1975 moving to Sevierville with her family. She passed peacefully with her family surrounding her, holding her hands, and her favorite hymns being played. She fought a 6-month battle with AML Leukemia and complicated with Fusarium fungal infection, caused from the soil & flowers she loved dearly working in. Marlene loved life and lived it to the fullest. She enjoyed her family, doing many cruises, rv'ing, beaches and riding her can-am. She drove her rv with her son, Mason, and her mom and Coco on a three-week trip out west. Marlene was a member of the Concord Baptist Church Choir, where she sang alto. She loved her music and all her friends there. Marlene was preceded in death of 4 years by her Dad, as he greeted her. Also preceded by her Grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Also, Mason's Dad, Michael Curtner when Mason was only 15 months old. Marlene is survived by her husband, Lorne, son Mason, Mom Hilda Hammontree and brother Marty (Kim) Hammontree, nephews Gavin (Jennileka) Julian Hammontree. Also in laws, Rev. & Mrs. Gary Beeler and family dog Coco, many relatives and friends. Marlene was a great mom, daughter, sister, and wife. She worked most of her life in the family business over thirty plus years for Rapid Fire Equipment, INC as CFO. Marlene attended Sevier Co High School as a freshman and was a band member where she played the French horn. As a sophomore she attended Conner Heights Christian School where she graduated. After graduation she attended Lee University. One of her favorite songs was "Beulah Land" and Special Bible verse was Isaiah 40:31 "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall walk, ad not faint" (KJV) A memorial service will be held at Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel on November 7th. Visitation 3-4pm A Celebration of life at 4pm. Employees of Rapidfire Equipment, INC will be her Honorary pallbearers.
