Mark Anthony Roberto, age 64 of South Park, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 1, 2022.
Mark was born in Pittsburgh, PA on February 17, 1958 and was the son of James Vincent Roberto and the late Ann Phyllis Roberto. Mark proudly served as a Broughton Volunteer Fireman in South Park for several years, was an avid outdoorsman and also loved to coach youth soccer. He started his career as a Boilermaker in Local 154 and then as a Reactor Operator at PPG.
Mark was a loving father who is survived by his sons, James Roberto, Jeffrey Roberto and Jason Roberto; his father James Vincent Roberto and his sister Philomena Jaehne; as well as many other family members. Mark was preceded in death by his mother Ann Phyllis Roberto.
Family and friends will gather at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236 on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm. A service will be held at Saint Paul's Cathedral, 108 North Dithridge Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15213 at 10:00 am on Monday, June 6, 2022. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 718 Hazelwood Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15207.
