Mark died unexpectedly on Sunday, November 19th, 2017. He was 52 years old. He will be deeply missed by his children Ronan and Tegan, his parents Jerry and Corinne, siblings Sean and Cynthia, co-parent and friend Sinead and his extended family and friends.
Mark adored his children and they adored him. He was an engaged dad, he coached his kids soccer teams, taught them to ski and snowboard and instilled in them his love of reading. They were regulars at the local library and the adventure playground in Berkeley.
Mark was full of life. He was passionate about everything he did. He was loud, with an even louder laugh and once Mark entered a space he was impossible to ignore. He was not shy about sharing his opinions. Mark was truly brilliant, he was articulate and was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge. He could converse intelligently on just about any subject.
Mark loved soccer and cycling. He was also an excellent cook. He was an avid reader and particularly loved science fiction.
Mark early death leaves a gaping hole in the hearts of all of those who loved him.
