Parker, Mark Charles Swartz Creek Age 61, died Sunday, July 17, 2022. Services will be held 7:00 PM Friday, July 22, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes; Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. ( A celebration of life dinner will be announced at a later date). Pastor Mark Cox officiating Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 4:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers his family request contributions to Adapt-a-pet Inc, 13575 Fenton Road, Fenton, MI. 48430. Mark was born May 14, 1961 in Flint, the son of Paul Duane and Geraldine Fay (Mayer) Parker. He was a 1979 graduate of Swartz Creek High School. Mark was a quiet, humble man who loved his family and his cats. An intelligent man, he loved to tinker, he could fix anything! His early education and love for cooking led him to Chef at the PGA National in West Palm Beach, Florida for several years. Missing home led him back to Michigan where he spent the next 25 years at Chrysler. Throughout his life Mark never tired of his passion for collecting antiques, family memorabilia and talking about old times. Recent retirement allowed him to pursue new passions for bicycling and gardening. Mark leave behind his brother, Matt, his wife Robin; nephews Terry Buckler, Chris Brady his wife Beth and their children Camden and Elesea; many lifelong friends. Special thanks go to Charlotte whose care and kindness never wavered. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Geraldine Parker.
