Mark A. Hurd, 54, of Columbus, passed away at 1:25 p.m. Sunday, May 3, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis.
Mark was born February 18, 1966, in Columbus, Indiana, the son of Melvin and Faith Ann Forrest Hurd.
He worked as tool maker for Cummings Engine Company for over ten years and loved to fish. Mark was very supportive and enjoyed watching his daughter ride Quarter Horses.
Survivors include his daughter, Lauren Hurd; brother, Jeff (Terri) Hurd; granddaughter, Harper Dewees; parents, Melvin and Faith Forrest; nephews, Blake and Connor Hurd, all of Columbus; many cousins, aunts and uncles.
Private visitation is planned at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home. In keeping with the family's request, cremation will take place after the visitation.
