Mark "Scrat" Alan Hribik, 63, of Caldwell, Idaho was a caring husband, father, brother, and friend. Early in the morning of August 1st, he gained victory over his eight-month battle with brain cancer, passing peacefully in he and his wife Debbie's home of 26 years.
Mark was born to Frank Sr. "Yank" and Shirley "Spud" Hribik on March 9th, 1958 in Kittanning, PA. Mark's childhood and adolescence was spent hunting, fishing, trapping, and getting into general mischief alongside his three brothers. After high school, Mark relocated to Boise, Idaho where he attended Boise State University, and became a celebrated member of their theatre team. In Boise he also met the love of his life, Debbie. They tied the knot in Elko, Nevada on October 26th, 1992. Their only child, Jessica, was born in July of 1993. Mark spent his life sharing his undying love of the outdoors with his wife, daughter, and many friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Debbie; his daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Caleb Robbins; his father, Frank Hribik Sr.; and two brothers, Frank Hribik Jr. and David Hribik. He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Hribik (Czapor); and his older brother, Michael Hribik.
A celebration of Mark's full and vibrant life will be held on August 15th at 6:30 pm, at he and Debbie's home in Caldwell. For more information, contact Jessica at 208-899-5296
