Marjorie E. Wenger, 96, was born November 13, 1925 in Stewart, OH and passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022. She was a daughter of the late Dorothy Richardson and Merle Norris, Sr.
Mrs. Wenger graduated from West High School in Columbus, OH and from Columbus Business University and Brevard Community College in Cocoa, FL. She was married to Herbert Russell Wenger for 73 years. She loved to travel, paint, and cook.
Mrs. Wenger was a member of Rockledge United Methodist Church in Rockledge, FL for 35 years where she was very involved. She gratefully attended Cornerstone Presbyterian Church here in Columbia. The most important thing to her was her family and her Lord.
Mrs. Wenger is survived by her son, Herbert Wenger (Barb) of AZ; daughter, Kathleen Carper (Jim) of Columbia, SC; son, Mark Wenger (Judy) of TX; daughter, Rebecca Shumate (Danny) of FL; brother, Bud Norris (Peggy) of OH; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband and sisters, Marian Adams Wenger and Marilyn Trujillo.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2022 at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends from 10:30 - 11:00 a.m. prior to the service in the sanctuary. A private entombment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery at a later date.
