Marjorie "Margie" Cripps, 76 of Gladwin MI passed away at home with family at her side on Thursday, January 28, 2021. Margie was born in West Branch, MI on September 21, 1944 the daughter of John and Hazel Priddy. Margie graduated from Ogemaw High School class of 1962 and married the love of her life Ronald Cripps on September 29th of the same year. Ron and Margie knew upon their first meeting, at ages 14 and 15, that they were destined to be together forever. Never has there been a husband and wife more committed to one another and to their wedding vows as Ron and Margie - for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish. Margie and Ron had 59 years of blissful marriage. Margie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be remembered for her compassion and deep love for her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Margie leaves behind her two children, Kirt Cripps and Rhonda Cline (Cat Swearengen). Also left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren: Shane Cripps, Holly Tuttle, Cody (Kennedy) Cripps, Austin (Danielle) Cripps, and Kayla Longstreth, all of whom have been the pride and joy of her life. Sisters, Carol (David) Curtis, Jean Neubecker, and Linda Fultz, along with many nieces and nephews that have shared a special place in her heart, and she in theirs. Margie was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson Jacob Cline. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Jon Scott and Pastor Paul Klassen on Monday, February 1, 2021, 2:00 P.M. at the Edwards Community Church. Visitation will be held on January 31, 2021, from 2-7:00 P.M. at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Butman Cemetery. Please follow the wearing of a mask and social distancing as provided by the State of Michigan. If you wish to attend virtually a Zoom will be in place for the funeral service.
