Marjorie was born June 10, 1930 to Eugene and Edna (Lease) Lawrence in Foley. Her parents owned several different businesses throughout their life, including Birch Acres Resort in Lincoln.
While living in Lincoln, she met Arnold Dvorak and they were united in marriage on May 29, 1953. From that union they had 14 children: Steve, Mary, Joni, Mike, Linda, Tony, Pat, Jim, Ann, Cathy, Joe, Susan, Sally and Greg.
Marjorie was a waitress for many years and worked on the family farm which had turkeys, cows, pigs and field crops. Her main full-time job was raising her children.
Marjorie loved gardening indoors and outdoors. She especially did well in the houseplant department, African violets were her specialty. She loved to cook and spend time with her family.
Marjorie had the best sense of humor. She kept her family entertained to her end, whom we were very happy to share those precious moments with her. She was very much loved and will be missed by all.
Marjorie is survived by 14 children and their significant others. She is blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers, John and Dickey; one grandson, Michael and many in-laws.
"Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed and very dear."
