Marjorie Ann (Schwarzman) Fisher
CONTINENTAL - Marjorie Ann (Schwarzman) Fisher, 90, of Continental, passed away 8:47 p.m., Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice. She was born April 11, 1932 in Dayton to the late Joseph "Joe" and Leona (Schmackers) Schwarzman. On October 19, 1950, she married Veran K. Fisher and he preceded her in death on June 9, 1976.
Survivors include four children: Michael V. (Connie) Fisher of Continental, MaryAnn (Randall) Williams of Jerry City, James K. (Cathy) Fisher of Mansfield and Patricia (Gerald) Tegenkamp of Continental; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; a sister: Mary Coletta (Schwarzman) Franks of Dayton; and two sisters-in-law: Carolyn (Arnie) Ricker of Continental and Harriette S. Schwarzman of Dayton.
She was preceded also in death by a great-great-grandchild; and five siblings: Bernard J. Schwarzman, Donald W. Schwarzman, Vera Mae (George) Franz, Victor J. Schwarzman and Clement L. Schwarzman; and a brother-in-law: George Franks.
Marjorie retired from Campbells Soup, Napoleon. She was a very active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Continental where she was the sacristan for many, many years. She was also a member of the Continental American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed Continental Pirates Basketball, watching Cincinnati Reds Baseball, dancing and traveling with family. She loved to attend her grandchildren's many sporting events. Marjorie was always willing to help others.
Funeral Mass will begin 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2022 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Continental with Father John Stites officiating. Burial with follow in Monroe Cemetery, Continental. A visitation will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental and Friday one hour prior to the mass at church.
Memorial donations may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Continental or Defiance Inpatient Hospice.
