Marion E. "Mern" Robinson was born to William Henry "Bill" and Frances Ola Mae (Covey) Robinson on April 30, 1942 in Walters, OK and departed this life in Lawton, OK on August 25, 2021 at the age of 79 years, 3 months and 26 days.
Marion grew up west of Walters, attending Ahpeatone School and then onto Big Pasture in Randlett, graduating in 1960. He married and to the union 2 children were born, Richard and Tina. Mern went to work for Ebner Bros. Meat Market and then B&W Manufacturing before beginning a 28 years career as a welding supervisor for Tranter Manufacturing. He married Terri Hill on November 7, 1998 at Burkburnett and continued making Randlett his home. Mern retired in April of 1999.
He was an active member of Lighthouse Church in Burkburnett. He enjoyed picking on people, fishing, tinkering, going to cattle sales, and going to the farm and cabin. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Eugene Robinson; and his sister, Georgia Ruffin.
Survivors include his wife, Terri, of the home; his kids, Richard Robinson and Paula of Burkburnett, Tina Brown of Randlett, Jessica Thompson and Charles, Donald Hill and April all of Walters; numerous beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.
