Marilyn Leslie Weaver Campbell was born to Walter and Myrtle Weaver on June 28, 1935 in Nampa, Idaho and passed away on October 16, 2021 in Nampa, Idaho.
She attended Lone Tree Grade School, a country school thru the eighth grade. She then attended Nampa High School graduating in 1953.
The day after graduation she went to work for Home Dairies and in 1957 she went to work for Idaho Power for over forty years.
Marilyn married Lyle Lynn Campbell on November 15, 1956. They enjoyed over 50 years camping, hiking, and traveling together photographing the beautiful scenery that God created in Idaho, all around the USA, and Canada. Marilyn and Lyle enjoyed getting out in Idaho's beautiful changing seasons. Backpacking to high mountain lakes in summer and cross county skiing in the winter, the great outdoors were always calling them. Marilyn won many awards with her photography of scenery, wildflowers, animals, and native birds.
Marilyn was a member of the First Christian Church, as well as the Photographic Society of America and the Canyon Photographic Camera Club, where she taught photography for a number of years.
Marilyn loved taking her photography to the First Christian Church for the members to enjoy God's beauty in Idaho and also making the church look attractive with lovely flower arrangements.
Lyle preceded Marilyn in death. Marilyn is survived by her sister Deanna Boehlke Ratcliff, a niece Kristine Bockenstette and a nephew, Alan Boehike, his children Drew, Bailey, and Max. Lyles brothers and sisters; Phillip Campbell, Sherman Campbell, Phyllis Troyer, Sharon Henry and Lyle's many nieces and nephews.
Marilyn's pretty smile and good nature will be missed, but we know she is with her loving husband once again in heaven.
