MARILYN JEAN ROMEO, Marilyn Jean Romeo (n?e Cameli) was born on September 25, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio and passed away in Naples Florida on May 17, 2021. She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas Romeo, and her parents, Tony and Ann Cameli (n?e Longano), and sister Janet Rueber (Al). She is survived by her four children: Tony, Lynn (David), Michael (Kelly), and Christine - all with her former spouse, also predeceased, Mario Vadini. She leaves nine grandchildren: Adeline (Chris), Carmen, Justine (Nate), Ariana, Lauren (Adam), Daniel, Michael (Sheryl), Nicholas (Jessica), Isabella as well as five great grandchildren: Jack, Vivian, Michael, James, and Peter. Marilyn is also survived by her sister Gloria Walsh (Dan) and her many nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved. Marilyn grew up part of an Italian family living on Cleveland's west side on West 137th Street. She graduated from John Marshall High School. She raised her family and was known as a loving and fun mother, hard worker, and dear friend to so many. She especially loved music, books, travel and her country. When Marilyn moved to Naples with Tom, they found great happiness making many new friendships in their neighborhood that lasted the rest of her life. She was adored by many for her fun and energetic spirit and wonderful sense of humor. She lived that way until the last days of her life. The family would like to thank all of Marilyn's friends that lived nearby, for the great joy and care they showed her, especially the past two years. In accordance with her last requests, the family will host a life celebration in her honor.
