Marie Elizabeth (Eltz) Sutton, 73, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Shands Hospital, Gainesville, Florida. Marie was born on May 8, 1949, in Elizabeth, New Jersey and raised in Carbondale, Pennsylvania. Upon marriage, Marie accompanied her husband overseas where they spent 16 years stationed between Japan and Turkey and growing their family. She moved to Maryland in 1985 where she began nursing before relocating to Port St. Lucie, Florida in 2005. Marie worked as an LPN (Charge Nurse and ECC Supervisor) for Sandhill Cove Retirement Living (Water's Edge) in Palm City, FL for 17 years before retiring in Oct 2021. Marie is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Eltz and Dorothy (Connor) Eltz. She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Dennis Sutton of Port St. Lucie, FL; children, Timothy (Cheryl) of Palm Harbor, FL; Shawn of Pasadena, MD; Erin of Frederick, MD and Kevin (Sheri) of Millersville, MD; grandchildren, Allie, Ryleigh, Kevin Jr. and Noah; siblings, Henry Eltz Jr. and Anne Trinkle, both of PA; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
