Marianne Bobrowski, departed this life on Monday, May 10, 2021, at the Meriden Center. Born on October 11, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Bobrowski. A lifelong resident of Meriden, Marianne was a graduate of Platt High School, Class of 1976 and received a bachelor's degree in marketing from Central Connecticut State University in 1980. She worked several years for JC Penny and as a manager at Kay Bee Toy and Hobby Shop. Marianne was a member of the Society of St. Therese and the St. Stanislaus Rosary Society. She enjoyed competing in Polish dance troupe competitions and was an avid NY Yankee fan.
She is survived by her children: Michael Wodopian of Romeoville, IL, David Wodopian and his wife Samantha; granddaughter Elsie all of Joliet, IL, the father of her children Paul Wodopian; her brother Robert Bobrowski of Burke, VA; devoted Christian friend Karen Lesiak of Meriden and the wonderful care-providers at the Meriden Center where she resided since 2002.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, May 17th at 9:30 a.m., from the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St., Meriden, when the funeral cortege will proceed to St. Stanislaus Church for a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home.
